Why London?

We’re excited to celebrate our union in our favorite city, which was our first big trip together back in 2022.

We completely understand that international travel may not be feasible for everyone for various reasons, and we look forward to celebrating with those who are unable to attend at another time.

Recommended lodging and stay

We welcome guests to stay anywhere in London that best suits their personal preferences.

We have limited shared accommodation we can provide for anyone who may need the support. Please reach out as soon as possible as space is limited.

Some notable hotels near our reception venue are One Hundred Shoreditch, Aethos Shoreditch, Buckle Street Studios, and The Hoxton.

For Airbnbs, some neighborhoods we would recommend include Shoreditch, Spitalfields, London Fields, Islington, Fitzrovia, or Marylebone.

Our wedding festivities will primarily take place in East London, but transit is fairly easy no matter where you are. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Travel and getting around

Generally, the easiest airport to fly into is London Heathrow. There are a handful of public transit options directly from the airport into the city center that are fairly inexpensive, but you can also take a taxi. The airport staff is extremely helpful in helping you navigate the train system if you should need any assistance.

London public transit (the underground and buses) accepts tap-to-pay from your phone, so there is no need to purchase a transit card. We recommend the City Mapper app or Google Maps for directions when getting around.

You will be required to submit your travel plans to the UK gov prior to landing in London, which most airlines will alert you to before your flight. You can download the UK ETA app and it will cost approximately $15. Be sure to do this prior to landing in the UK to avoid any customs delays!
